crocodiles and gharials in nepal

There are two types of crocodile. They are mugger or marsh and gharials crocodile.
Muggers live in the rivers in the Terai. Crocodiles blood is not warm, so they live in hot places. On winter nights they sleep deep under the water. Muggers eat fish, birds, small animals. Only some times do they attack people but don't go near one !
Gharials live in Chitwan. A big gharial is 6 meteres long. They move their long thin snout quickly and snap up fish.
Crocodiles have teeth to catch food, but they can't chew. They eat stones, and the stones in their stomach grind up the food. They only eat about fifty times in a year.
Crocodiles lay eggs with hard shells. The baby has a special tooth to crack open the egg.
